“Dear Damian,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team and to let your know about our experience working with Emma Ross and Ray Chua over the last few months.

When we signed up to do the Property Masters Education program Emma contacted us to gauge our financial position and potential buying power. We had previously used a different broker and were reluctant to change as we didn’t want to be disloyal. However, we kept in contact with Emma and updated her as our circumstances changed. We developed a great relationship and quickly decided that we wanted to work with Emma. When we were ready to buy our first investment property, she had all the documents in place and was ready to go.

Emma obtained unconditional approval from our lender within two weeks of our offer being accepted, which brought our settlement date forward and meant that we could get into our house sooner. She (along with Emily) communicated with us weekly, keeping us updated on the progress of our application and maintained contact after formal approval was received, to see how things were progressing and to make sure that we were well informed. Emma worked with our buyers and settlement agents behind the scenes making the whole process appear fluid and seamless. We had a great working relationship with her and always felt welcome to contact her with any questions – which we had many.

Emma explained how she was structuring our loans clearly and we felt very confident and informed throughout the entire process. We quickly saw the advantages of having a great, approachable broker who was working for us to get the best deal possible – and get it quickly!

Our interaction with Emma was so great that as soon as our first loan went through, we contacted her to start working on another one so we can start looking at perhaps purchasing another property – why not if the process is so easy?

During the search for our first investment property in late 2009, we engaged Ray as our Buyer’s Agent to negotiate an option on a property we’d found. We didn’t know much about options, and Ray explained the process to us and walked us through the steps. We found Ray to be very professional throughout the entire process and we felt well-informed and supported. Although the seller was not ready to commit to an Option, we were very satisfied with Ray’s performance and expanded the scope of our contract enabling him to search for a suitable property on our behalf. This was a very quick process and we found a house we wanted within a couple of weeks.

Ray negotiated a purchase price which was less than our initial offer would have been if we’d done it ourselves. In addition to a great purchase price, Ray also made arrangements for all necessary inspections and ensured that the sellers met their obligations. He was also very quick to act when our sellers notified us they couldn’t meet an aspect of the sale contract and Ray ensured that we were compensated financially. This brought the cost of the house down even further! We were extremely impressed.

Ray definitely achieved above and beyond what we expected or had hoped. We were very impressed with how fast and stress-free the entire process was. Ray took care of everything himself and presented all the need-to-know information to us via regular updates. We had to meet only a couple of times to sign documents and before we knew it the house was ours.

Without Ray’s expertise and persistence with his negotiations, we wouldn’t have found a property so quickly and been able to complete most of the renovations before settlement. We secured a tenant (also through Momentum Wealth) the day after settlement, and this wouldn’t have been possible without Ray’s hard work.

We would definitely engage with Emma and Ray for future property purchases and have recommended them both to our friends.
