Momentum Wealth cleans up at awards ceremonies
March has proved to be a big month for Momentum Wealth after winning several top industry awards at both a state and national level.
Momentum Wealth’s mortgage and finance division was named the Best Independent Office in Western Australia (with 5 or more brokers) at the 2015 Better Business Awards late last month.
In deciding the winner of the award, the judging panel considered companies’ point of difference when servicing clients, achievements over the past year and business growth.
It was the first time Momentum Wealth had entered the ‘5 or more brokers’ category after expanding the mortgage and finance division over the past year.
The company won the category ‘less than 5 brokers’ just a year earlier at the 2014 Better Business Awards.
Mortgage & finance specialist, Bianca Patterson, also won the Rising Star award at this year’s ceremony.
The Rising Star award recognises leadership qualities, individual results and achievements and personal development within the industry.
In another major coup for Momentum Wealth, acquisitions specialist Kent Cliffe was named the winner of the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s (REIA) Buyer’s Agent of the Year award.
Kent was presented with the accolade at REIA’s 2015 National Awards for Excellence, which was held in early March.
Kent won the national award after being named as the Western Australian buyer’s agent of the year in 2014.
Momentum Wealth general manager, Jennifer Wakeman, also picked up a major award last month.
Jennifer was named as a Business News 40Under40 winner, which recognise Western Australia’s top 40 business people under the age of 40 taking into account personal determination, commercial drive and philanthropic activities.
The 40Under40 awards were held at Crown Perth on Wednesday, March 11 and were attended by over 1,000 delegates, including Christian Porter, parliamentary secretary to Prime Minister Tony Abbott, and many of Perth’s top business people.
